We live in a country today that has citizens of many races, creeds and religions - a fun and diverse place to be!

Traditionally being British to me is about the stiff upper lip, never complain, being polite and minding your p's and q's, and of course that tough bull-dog spirit!

Do these values still hold today as part of being British, or have others taken over?

i really like this guy, his names matt. we've know each other for a while and well we've been hanging out alot lately. we kiss and stuff like that but he says that we're not really dating. how does that work? im confused and don't know what to do. I completely understand that he just got out of a long relationship, but why would he be kissing me if he doesn't want to be with me? Should i be the one to ask him out? Or should i wait for him to ask me?

I had 3 cats, but 2 ran off about 2 weeks ago and no one's called us about their flyers (meaning no one's seen them), and they left their 1 1/2 year old son. I've paid extra attention to him and made sure he doesn't feel bad, but the problem there in lies: He's not MY cat, he's my dad's. He's gotten to where he sleeps next to me, he wants me to feed him, me to play with him, and NOT my dad. I don't really want him to be my cat, as I intend to adopt from the shelter when we have the money. What can I do to seem like less of an owner to him?

Most people are poor due to laziness and the poor choices they made. Others, it is just bad luck, but as a whole it is not helping a poor person to get out of their current situation. There are too many people taking advantage of the Welfare system. Why should honest working Americans pay for all of their kids, $150 pair of Nike's, and drug and alcohol habits?

I also need guys opinions on this. This guy that I've been seeing just recently had to move back home for certain reasons (family) There is something I need to be honest with him about, which may make our relationship closer. Anyway, since he's now long distance, about 4 hrs, I can't exactly see him whenever I want. But how can I get his full attention, and what's the best way to reveal something of yourself from a guy's standard? What would he be more comfortable with? By phone I'm thinking it might be hard for me to get everything out, by email would be better, but I'm not sure what guys think about letters. I want him to feel comfortable & to get his full attention. IF anything I can try to meet him in person, but I don't want to "scare" him. So what's the best option from a guy's point of view?

To my understanding, the more you make the cheaper you can sell. Somehow, the utilities and fuel prices are not part of that rule. I would assume that if barrel of crude is cheaper by 15%, it would be illogical for the end product to be cheaper by 33% or more.Same with a gas or electric power. Why is that?
I do not get it.
Furthermore, if you make a larger quantity, you can give your customers bigger discount. Why is that not true for utilities or gas companies?
Something is not right here or am I just ...

So that when reading the fine print of each times new roman word for the supreme being they all seem to describe the same being. And for better or worse that seems to be Me. The universal ONE true GOD. That seems incredible but because of tampering with the bible which tells of miracles that defy the natural laws it means that when the promised visitation of LORD GOD comes to earth no one will beleive Him because existing LORD's conspired to make the God who is God Most High have powers that no living being could have including whichever sovereign LORD you bow too. Mindreading is a science not a miracle. Hearing voices where their is none is science not a miracle.
