I lost touch with this friend for 10 yrs. After a week when I met her again, she wanted to borrow $150 from me. I was hesitant but I felt guilty when she said her husband & kid got nothing more to eat. I didn't ask when she'd pay me back but she's the one who promised she would do so after 3 days.
It's been a week now and I didn't hear from her anymore! I feel guilty to "haunt" & remind her coz I know she needs the $ but she must also consider & ask me if I needed the $ as well. I worked for my money! To me, if she didn't have intention of paying or she'd delay it, she should have at least contacted me and not promised anything at all. She could have asked for "donation" from me and not used the word "borrow".
If you were me, would you just forget about it & her... or will you demand for your $? I really dislike people who "forget" about their obligations.

I would like to learn to converse with Indo-Americans, or be able to understand Bollywood movies. Something a bit generic, that if I were to travel there, I wouldn't be completely lost. I know there are tons of dialects, but a good jumping off point would be nice.

There alot of yahoo answers junkies , typing in day and night...
it has became a trend , socializing in here and some people dont answer question at all rather make posts commenting on the person who asked the question and critisizing his/hers point of view or attitude. this has really got to stop since those people are very annoying.. when i ask a question that is not cheesy sounding or funny, that means i want an answer and nothing else some people just go off chatting . yeah sure make a few comments but when u see a question like .."HEY WHO's HOTTER BRITNEY OR JESSICA" but when u see somthing like "How do you convert miles into km " plz dont go off about ur personals.

I'ts been 3 years since we break up and hav'nt seen each other! I'm still single and he has a girlfriend and they have a 9 months baby. I'ts just that he keeps calling me everyday without his girlfriend knowing that were still have communication. And finally just yesterday his girlfriend already know. I told him to stop calling me coz I don't want to break their relationship.. (well just for the sake of the baby) And his girlfriend don't want us to be friends. But he never listen to me. "Let's keep it a secret" that's what he said!! He's still pushing even though I said so many things that I know will hurt him so much. He still loves me.. the last thing he said with our argument....

If an atheist did not believe in God, why, then would they care if there was a public display of a religious symbol, esp. a Christian one? Wouldn't to object acknowledge that there might be a God that the person hates rather than seeing the symbol as a harmless object that means nothing to them?

I pluck my hair just as someone would bite their fingernails. I sometimes have gone as far as making a bald spot in my full head of hair. Sometimes I look at my hair in the mirror and spot the thickest hairs and I just have to pluck them out. What is this condition and how can I end it before I go bald!!!

One time i went to a camp and we stayed in college dorms, and the laundry was free, so we all took turns riding in the dryer, could you get elecricuted from that, oh, and we did it for like 10 sec. then we got out. i know we could break the belt and all, (but it's not like it's my dryer)

I'm sure the pain must have been excruciating, causing him to want to pull out the stingray's barb. In your professional opinion,
did he have a chance to live without removing that barb?
Or, was it all over once he was stabbed in the heart and venom was introduced? My question is sincere and compassionate. Please, only qualified persons reply. Unfortunately, we have some sicko people around who enjoy other's misfortune.
He was a decent man and husband and father.

One of my good friends as acted different around me lately. Last year she would talk to me, steal my hat on occasion put her arm over me every once in a while. Then I come back to school and she rests her arm on my knee, steals my hat and wears it for as long as she can. Gave me a new necklace when my old one broke. I put my hand on her shoulder and she flat out hugged me. Once, I had a small hole in my shirt and she starts ripping it wider. Doodes on my notebook. But my diemma is that she does hug some other of her friends but not nearly what ive been getting. Constantly smiles.

The thing is thatis she just being more deeply friendly or does she like me

and i have no idea how to ask her if she does
