like most people when I read sun signs and compare to people I know there are often many similarities I can see- however my ex husband is a Scorpio and he is nothing and I mean nothing like a scorpio...I have known Scorpio men before and can see it in them...I have gotten many people to read the Linda Goodman book and everyone, bar none, agrees there is not one trace of scorpio in his personality....to be quite honest he really doesn't remind me of any sign in particular...can anyone explain...I have never seen that before....

This is my 2nd pregnancy....I am 36 weeks along and have been having irregular contractions that might I add are quite painful. I did not go into labor on my own with my first and therefore I feel as though I am completely blind to what I should be experiencing in TRUE labor.

Someone please help.....I feel soooooo lost!

I m 31 n hez 35.Got married2 yrs bck.Son 6mnths.His whole family is quite abusive.Doesn't know what 2 say ,when n where!No control on tounges n temper.similar upbringHez graduate n me an MBA.though earlier he wnted a wrking girl now he is totally against it.He talks very less and his favourite passtime is degrading and humiliating me,mylooks ,my education and my family members(which he and his family members call "sense of humour").After 3 mth of staying with him i left him and aborted our first baby.Just after 15 days he started calling -apologised for his behaviour and promised me not b abusive in future n asked me to come back AND I CAME .but i found hez telling everybody its me who apolgsd. Hez a frustrated person (with no reason 2 b)He'sproblems with almost evrythng i say or do.He's improvd no doubt in this time.But story is same.A very short tempered man with no logic at all.behaves like a 5-6 yr old.he believes the policy"offense is the best defence".Is an excellent father.

My friend L's ex got her pregnant in her senior yr of college. He didn't want her to keep the baby, but she didn't want an abortion, and almost chose adoption, but her parents said they'd help her, so she kept it.

She graduated, moved home, and had her baby. Now he is 2. L is miserable living with her parents, who aren't as supportive as they had promised, and are often mean to her. She works part-time in a store at the mall, and barely earns enough to pay her bills (this is w/o having to pay rent, etc).
Myself and others keep telling her to get child support from the father (50+ miles away), but she is afraid he will get partial custody of their child, and she doesn't want her son bouncing between 2 parents. I think his previous actions prove that he was never interested in having the baby, and would probably be given minimal visitation rights.

L talked to lawyers who discouraged her from getting child support. I see it as the only way she could get out of her current situation

My flatmate has a new 3 year old russian blue cat. It's a lovely cat and fine with her. However, it's terrified of me and can't get away fast enough when I'm near! I've tried to be kind and gentle with it but it hasn't worked. I'm never near other cats and I don't smell strange (I hope!) so what can I do?

Because of what others have done, does not mean it represents the whole religion. There are radical Muslims just as there are Radical Christians. The United States has had home grown terrorist for YEARS and YEARS (need we mention the KKK? Republicans? The Police?) It is the media who portrays Muslims in a bad light because of what a few radicals do. I'm sick of being downgraded on Yahoo! TAKBIR! What does Islam really teach?
