My boyfriend and I will be celebrating our 6 month anniversary next week, and I'd really like to bring up the idea of getting promise rings together. The meaning behind the rings being that we are only 18 and 22 years old, in college and aren't going to get engaged anytime soon, but I'd still love to have rings that symbolize our commitment, that we'll be faithful to each other and do our best to make our relationship work, etc. So do we go shopping for them together (because to be honest I'd like a say in what my ring would look like) or should I just surprise him with one? Also, I don't want to spend a lot of money. (probably no more than $50) so where do we get rings that are cheap but still beautiful? Any positve feedback would be great.

My bestfriend is living with me. I offered her my place when she got fired from her job. We agreed that once she've found a job, she will help me with the rent, food, bills, etc. I helped her to find a job and luckily, she got hired a month ago My husband and I talked to her about some house rules. We told her that she can let her boyfriend visit her until 8pm only. Now, she's violating our house rules. She even let her boyfriend sleep in her room which is a "major violation" plus, since she have a boyfriend and she even neglected her job! My husband and I had enough of reminding her that she need to work not only to help us but also to help her parents. I really think she's too distracted because of her boyfriend. What should i do? How can i ever talk to her without offending her? Please help!

i go out a lot and and have many friends with mobile friends who are the same age as me i'm 14 and i don't have a job and i only get $15 evry week and my 'rents are going to buy me one for chrissie but i don't know how i'm going to pay for the credit because they said that they won't be paying for the credit and at 15 i can get a job at the local supermarket and it's my 15th birthday 2 and a 1/2 monts later and i wont be able to get one till a month after, will my credit last 3 and a 1/2 months with $350 which is from my pocket money and my birthday and chrissie money but i would also like to be able to buy a new pair of gallaz so any idea how i could get more money?

I was playing my Sims Unleashed/Makin' Magic game and I had one of my Sims set up the bath for the puppy. At the same time she called for the puppy, my other Sim arrived from work & the puppy ran to greet him, completely ignoring the take a bath command. Now my Sim with the dog bath is stuck, waiting for the dog to come but it doesn't have that action anymore. The Sim won't move even though I cancelled the wash the dog action. She wouldn't even pass out when all her energy levels ran out. Is there anyway I can fix this? Thanks!

My system is getting hanged even i work or not. nothing is working. after restarting also may be within 15 to 20 mins it will hang again. I have tried with different operating systems but invain.
my system specifications are p II 233 mhz, soyo motherboard, two 32mb rams and one 64 mb ram. 20 gb samsung hardisk, cirrus logic graphics adapter, creative sound card. And my processor is slot type not socket type. it has two ps/2 ports, one is for key board and other one for mouse. But mouse port is not working as it is broken. I am using serial mouse. cmos battery is also not working. The above said problem is there with and without that battery. so i removed battery. i checked all the components like mouse, processor, harddisk, ram, graphics adapter. I didn't noticed any beep sounds also. Please help me solving this problem.

I have sent many letters, not manuscripts mind, via email. Just a brief, concise letter asking if they would be considerate enough to read one chapter. They don't bother to reply or send a computerised note saying "no". How on earth do new authors get through the barriers?

or does it depend on the school itself?

I know that I could probably look at a reference guide like the Medical School Admission Requirements book (MSAR), but I was wondering if anyone had low GPA and/or MCAT scores and still got accepted into an ALLOPATHIC (not osteopathic) medical school.

My GPA and MCAT scores aren't deplorable. I'm just curious.
