When I hear stupid commericals on the TV or the radio, I will no longer go to that store. But, it really has to be irritating. For example, there is a new Taco Bell commerical out where a taco bell food is talking to an airport security guy. I AM NOW BOYCOTTING THAT RESTAURANT! Also, for people who live in NW Ohio, I have been boycotting Car Stereo One for about 6 years now (I cannot stand Steve, he has to know he commercials drive away more business than it brings in).

Do you know that North Carolina's original copy of the Bill of Rights was stolen by a Union soldier in 1865?

Or that it was returned to North Carolina's State Capitol in August of 2005 after almost 140 years? Or that the thief is reputed to have been a Union infantryman from Ohio, who helped ransack State Archives? Or that Ohio, which should have made some attempt to correct this affront to our state and national history, never made any effort to have the document restored to North Carolina?

Does running the A/C fan instead of the A/C actually help keep the house cool?

I know it takes less energy to set the thermostat on Fan Only. That's kind of a no brainer. Is there any objective evidence that running the fan actually helps keep the house cooler? With no moisture coming out of the air, I find it gets uncomfortable, but I've got a roommate that thinks it helps. Thanks.

If beer had no alcohol in it, would you still drink it?

I really like beer for the different flavors, and would still drink it if it was non-alcoholic( not the cheap stuff like bud or miller, but the real beers like Belhaven ,Maredsous, Chimay, etc.). I would like to see which ones of you really appreciate the craft of brewing and which ones drink beer for the drunk.(im not judging anyone for their answers, just curious)

summer hookups?

okay its the summertime and i really dont feel like having a bf, i just wannna hookup and have fun. I have no problem with having a bf but im going thru alot of drama now and i dont really care for a bf. Besides I save the boyfriend hunting for the fall but right now during the summer i just dont want the hasssle of a relationship. When fall comes around is when i start looking for guys. Do you think its bad that all i wanna do is hookup? It is the summer right?
